Paid Time Off (PTO)
CHAS Health offers up to 6 weeks of PTO per anniversary year for full time employees.
Loan Reimbursement Program that provides reimbursement for student loan payments up to $5,250 per year for CHAS Health employees working a minimum of 30 hours a week who have completed 90 days of employment and are in good standing. This program is for employees with qualified student loans that are not eligible for state or federal loan repayment programs.
Flexible Work Arrangements
This CHAS Health benefit provides employees the opportunity to work modified schedules, work part-time, or work from home. This structure allows employees in eligible positions more flexibility with balancing work and personal life.
Retirement Plans
CHAS Health will match the employee’s contribution, up to 6% of gross wages. Both 401(k) Traditional and Roth retirement plans are offered.
Purpose of Job:
Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by providing primary medical services at CHAS clinics in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations of the CHAS Board of Directors and administration as follows:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Completion of accredited medical doctor or doctor of osteopathy program required. Board certification or board – eligible in area of specialty (internists/pediatricians, family practice, obstetrics/gynecology) required. Family Practice specialty strongly preferred. Previous experience working with underserved populations highly desired. Certification through the Drug Enforcement Agency and valid licensure in Washington State required. BLS certification required.
Skills: Must be able to secure credentialing through identified agencies (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.). Effective oral and written communication skills required. Computer skills required. EHR experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
Providers must be able to move around the facility between 1/3rd and 2/3rds of the day, as well as sit at a workstation or in patient rooms. Using hands occurs over 2/3rds of the day, while reaching with arms occurs less than 1/3rd of the day. Communicating is also required over 2/3rds of the day, while climbing, stooping or crawling is minimal. Lifting up to 10 lbs. occurs about half the time, while up to and above 25 lbs. occurs only occasionally.
