Join Our Mission: Accountant II at Charlotte Rescue Mission
Are you an experienced accountant with a passion for making a difference? Charlotte Rescue Mission, a Christ-centered residential drug and alcohol recovery program, is seeking a dedicated Accountant II to join our team.
In this critical role, you will:
- Assist with monthly and fiscal year-end closes
- Manage accounts payable processing and vendor relationships
- Process payroll-related financial information
- Maintain fixed asset records
- Provide backup support for the Assistant Controller
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting and 4 years of accounting experience, OR 10 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency with PC applications like Excel, Word, and accounting software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities
- The ability to lift 30 lbs. and sit/stand for extended periods
