JOB GOAL
The mental health clinician position at CMA is a member of the school's comprehensive student services team. The clinician will provide individual services to students that otherwise do not receive services, conducts group services for students throughout the school building based on needs determined by the team and assists with crisis management and supporting families with access to higher levels of care if/when needed.
Provide supportive and direct mental health services to students and families. Provide assessment, diagnostic, counseling, and psychotherapeutic treatment services to students. May provide educational consultation services to other school staff, community agencies, and the public. Support the district implementation of Social Emotional Learning and School Mental Health policy. Work collaboratively with Specialized Instructional Support Personnel to provide a full continuum of behavioral/mental health support.

Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA)*
