General Definition of Work
The executive director of customer and administrative services, under minimal supervision, performs senior-level work with extensive decision-making discretion leading, planning, coordinating, and implementing plans in all activities of the assigned department, including short-and long-term planning as well as development and administration of departmental policies, procedures, and services. This position serves as the district liaison for low-level issues involving staff, students, conflicts in policies and regulations, community concerns, and parental requests that may result in negative impact and/or liability if not appropriately addressed. The executive director of customer and administrative service will identify and resolve low-level issues through collaboration with school administration, learning community, or district level department in that order. This role will also perform highly advanced work to carry out Board of Education policies and procedures related to triaging and resolving low-level concerns under the direction of the chief of staff.
