Used Car Reconditioning Technician

Fresh Start Auto Sales, part of the Chariot Automotive Group , is looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to maintain and repair vehicles.

You will be responsible for providing timely inspections and repairs while ensuring quality standards and safety requirements are met.

We are looking for a technician who is passionate about vehicles and has a genuine desire to help customers.

Responsibilities :

• Inspect and Service vehicle inventory for our Used Car Department.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Tests Components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnoses, maintains and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning.
• Communicates directly with the Service Manager so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
• Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Requirements :

• A valid driver’s license with no major violations or suspensions in the last 5 years
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Technician
• Good knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• A great attitude and a customer service-oriented mindset
• Willingness to learn new technologies and grow as a Technician
• Team oriented and communicate properly with Advisors and Parts Countermen
