Charger Services is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Midland, TX

Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, and assisting with collections. This position requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and excellent customer service abilities. Responsibilities: - Generate and send accurate and timely invoices to customers - Review and analyze customer accounts for discrepancies or unpaid balances - Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any billing issues - Process credit memos and adjustments as needed - Maintain accurate records of all transactions in the accounting system - Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies - Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable - Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders - Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer inquiries or disputes Requirements: - Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role - Strong understanding of accounting principles, including debits and credits - Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., Quicken, Sage) - Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail - Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) - Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or issues - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Customer service-oriented with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally - Familiarity with ICD-10 coding is a plus We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
