About the Role:
CHANEL is looking for Senior Manager, Cloud Integration Architect to join our Digital Tech Team in New York City. This Integration Architect will play a leading role in the technical delivery and solutions for the .com platform projects that are integrated into the local US tech landscape. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 7 years' experience with integration, other technologies and information systems within Cloud environment (Azure, GCP). This role's main responsibility is to collaborate daily with the eCommerce Service Lead and Technical Project Manager to understand, advocate, and deliver operationally efficient and scalable solutions to the .com platform landscape.
This Integration Architect interfaces with Global Digital Service team, the Digital US team, and our US Tech and Global Tech Chanel internal teams, where relevant. The ideal candidate will oversee architecture, recommendations and solutions on eCommerce and eServices as it relates to local .com systems. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in software delivery and a passion for connecting technical & business initiatives.
What impact you can create at CHANEL:
  • Architect end-to-end integration solutions that connect eCommerce chanel.com platform, eServices applications, backend systems (such as OMS, ERP, CRM, Finance), third-party services (payment gateways, shipping providers), and other relevant systems
  • Design and implement robust integration solutions that enable efficient data exchange, seamless business processes, and enhanced customer experiences across digital channels
  • Maintain an integration strategy that aligns with the overall Tech and business objectives of the organization in collaboration with the digital platforms' technical director. This includes defining integration patterns, standards, and best practices
  • Partner with middleware (Azure iPaaS and Biztalk) teams to define data mapping rules and transformation logic to ensure data consistency and compatibility between different systems connecting chanel.com platform
  • In collaboration with .com service leader, partner with global platform team for integration alignments, discovery etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including service stream lead, project managers, architects, business analysts, and developers to understand integration requirements, gather feedback, and deliver integrated solutions that meet business needs
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting assistance, and root cause analysis for integration issues
  • Maintain a priority list based on upcoming deliverables and milestones - Delivery timeline agreements
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-faceted & multi-cultural environment - where exploration and stretch goals are encouraged
  • Guide stakeholders on processes for infrastructure provisioning
  • Understand how changes can impact infrastructure delivery and raise concerns and/or propose solutions to mitigate
  • Ensure necessary change request(s) are submitted for expected deliverable and to track progress
  • Ensure that integration solutions comply with security standards, and industry best practices for data protection, encryption, access control, and auditability
  • Create and manage documentation for relevant system flows connecting chanel.com platform and other systems downstream
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance the chanel.com integration architecture to adapt to changing business needs, new applications or services, and evolving IT landscapes
  • Service management - define API specifications, documentation, versioning strategies, and security measures (such as authentication and authorization)
  • Escalate ALL potential conflicts to the Product Owner, PM and/ or digital platforms technical director
  • Provide L2/L3 Ad hoc support for production issues

Technical Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in leading technical integration architecture
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/ engineering or equivalent
  • Cloud practitioner certification (Google Cloud, Microsoft Cloud Fundamentals and/or Azure Preferred)
  • Relational database experience (SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL database (MongoDB); primarily in Azure Cloud a plus
  • Expertise with integrations with Salesforce platform - Data Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud along with Oracle Cloud
  • Experience with industry leading eCommerce platforms like SAP Commerce Cloud, Salesforce commerce, Shopify, Commerce Tools etc.
  • Extensive experience with microservices, SOA architecture, SOA services, breaking monoliths to microservices, ESB and business process driven development.
  • Experience implementing SSO, Federation, Oauth/SAML based authentication for client facing applications using OpenAM, Client Certificates and Directory server
Position Logistics:
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in leading technical integration architecture
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/ engineering or equivalent
  • Partially Remote: Role requires a minimum of three days in-person office presence at CHANEL HQ in New York City
Compensation:
  • The anticipated base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $ 165,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
