Provide one-on-one and group counseling to residential clients. Actively participate in, monitor and document the daily lives of assigned clients. Provide and develop a positive and caring relationship with clients and families. Interact and play with clients balancing nurture and structure. Understand and use the Chaddock model of behavior management and therapeutic intervention in the provision of services. Document all counseling activities using established process. All services shall be provided in accordance with the highest professional standards and within the realm of the Chaddock Treatment Model.

All agency staff are expected to address clients, staff and community members in a respective, positive and professional manner; and provide a safe environment to live, learn and work. Agency staff are expected to perform identified responsibilities and assure that all aspects of the agency comply with all applicable Federal, State and accreditation standards in conjunction with the agency’s identified policies and procedures. Chaddock is a drug free/smoke free environment.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field preferred. A combination of college credit and/ or work experience in the human services field equivalent to five years will also be considered.
  • Position is required to meet the qualifications of a Mental Health Professional as outlined in Rule 132.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Be an American citizen or have a valid work permit
  • Pass a drug screen, medical examination and tuberculosis (TB) test
  • Pass a criminal background check

  • Evenings (2:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.) and Every Weekend
