Centura College Online is Hiring a CAMPUS ASSISTANT DIRECTOR Near Las Vegas, NV

POSITION PURPOSE

This position is responsible for assisting the Campus Executive Director manage day-to-day administrative tasks of the school and to ensure all departments are remaining in compliance with Accreditation. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the campus remains compliant with State, Federal and internal guidelines as determined/defined by the Corporate Compliance Department.


JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as an administrative supervisor over campus departmental personnel including F/A, bursar, and career services; and acts as a liaison between campus and corporate program directors/coordinators who audit/train each respective administrative Campus Assistant Director department as listed above. In addition, acts as a secondary administrative supervisor in conjunction with the primary administrative supervisors over student services and student representative. Dual supervisor with Director of Admissions over Receptionist.
  • Support the Executive Director in overseeing the productivity and performance of the Admissions and Education departments on campus.
  • Track all employee’s attendance, vacation, and sick time
  • Assist in implementation of new policies and procedures
  • Update and maintain company Policy & Procedure Manual as needed
  • Assure that requested reports out of Campus Vue are run and submitted, on schedule, as requested by Campus Executive Director
  • Ensure that employment vacancies within school and as requested by Campus Executive Director are submitted to Corporate for advertising
  • Assist in Financial Aid department, Bursar department, Registrar department, and Student Services department when necessary to assure continuity during employment vacancies or back up as needed in each respective department
  • Monitor the flow of student data between all of the above departments to assure speed and accuracy during processing of applicants between departments as well as communication of active student tracking and changes between all relevant departments to assure accuracy and speed of any pending results
  • Assist with Accreditation Reports
  • Assist with State Reports
  • Assist with IPEDS reports
  • Assist with Student and Staff problems, and ensure Campus Executive Director is aware of any issues
  • Assist with Payroll by collecting and organizing all hours performed by employees and subsequently signing off on the submittal of same

• Assist in the review and response to all employee grievances; ensure Campus Executive Director is aware of any issues • Liaison between School and Corporate office for HR questions

• Responsible for reporting to Corporate Human Resources any awareness of an employee medical condition that would result in eligibility for FMLA, ADAAA, or other forms of Leave of Absence. Campus Assistant Director • Maintain a positive working relationship with school and corporate staff and students

  • Uphold the school, its staff, its students, and its programs in the highest regard
  • Ability and willingness to work evening or weekend hours when warranted or deemed necessary by Campus Executive Director Campus Assistant Director
  • Work with Corporate Marketing on Social Media projects and maintenance
  • Ability and willingness to relocate, due to business necessity
  • Any other duties that may be assigned by the Campus Executive Director


Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Minimum two (2) years office management or admissions experience, minimum of one (1) year in a proprietary academic environment


Experience/Skills

  • Proven, excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with a diverse employee and student population
  • Must be highly organized, able to multitask, and be a self-starter who can work independently and with a high degree of confidentiality
  • Position requires business aptitude, sales skills, and strong work ethic
  • Working experience at Centura, AIM or Tidewater Tech preferred
  • Strong student-centered focus; commitment to student satisfaction and success Campus Assistant Director
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Strong MS Word, Excel, Outlook skills; prefer Campus Vue experience. Social Media or SharePoint experience a plus
