We are seeking a driven person that is motivated by our mission to discover and deploy the most effective strategies that reduce energy and carbon emissions. This person will join our IT team but primarily work for CEE’s Market Transformation Team. The Market Transformation Team is responsible for scoping, designing, and implementing a portfolio of emerging technology initiatives, to accelerate the adoption of new energy efficient technologies in Minnesota.
The Technical Data Analyst will be responsible for developing data intake and organization processes and managing the wrangling of large data sets. The analyst will support the calculation of the energy savings for each market transformation initiative, as well as tracking progress and forecasting trends.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating and managing data pipelines. They will be able to develop data intake processes and collaborate with the Market Transformation team to develop and implement methods to forecast sales trends for the state of Minnesota. They will have a team-oriented approach, be agile, and goal oriented as they implement data cleaning, validation, and a variety of other tasks needed to support the Market Transformation team.

CEE launched the Market Transformation program in 2023, with committed and growing funding from the State of Minnesota and its utilities. This program accelerates and rapidly scales the development and adoption of emerging energy efficiency and decarbonization technologies, including workforce efforts. The Technical Data Analyst will report to the Director of IT and may support projects across the organization but will primarily work with the MT team at CEE.
