This role interprets, analyzes, and summarizes reportable programmatic data to meet compliance with ACEN standards and criteria.
1. Analyzes student-focused reports designed to improve student retention and completion.
for internal teams, department chairs, or individuals.
2. Collaborates with faculty and staff to analyze and interpret data, such as enrollment, retention, completion, licensure / certification exam trends, course data, withdrawal tracking, etc.
3. Collaborates with Dept. Chairs and Student Affairs to conduct retention- and completion-related outreach to students, as appropriate.
4. Uses graphs, tables, infographics, and other methods to visualize data. Analyzes and interprets data using statistical modeling software. Provides a draft summary of reportable data.
5. Uses data to identify opportunities for increasing student engagement, retention, and completion.
6. Interprets and analyzes programmatic data for assigned areas to use as part of internal Improvement process and to increase day-to-day efficiencies.
7. Evaluates programmatic and unit Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to institutional KPIs. Assists with the interpretation and use of extracted data.
8. Uses data to identify trends in enrollment, retention, student behavior, completion, etc.; makes recommendations for action.
9. Analyze and enhance data collecting strategies within academic programs.
10. Collaborates with Planning and Research on data collection and sharing; may serve as liaison between Planning and Research and assigned areas.
11. Runs reports to identify potential program completers; conducts outreach to students, as appropriate.
12. Runs reports to identify program “stop outs;” conducts outreach to students, as appropriate.
13. Other duties as assigned.
Associate’s degree or higher in data analytics, informatics, math or related degree and two years of related work experience.
