A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in business, or a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline. In some cases, in lieu of the applicant’s having a bachelor’s degree, the College will consider, as appropriate, associate degrees coupled with related work experiences in the field, professional licensure and certifications, or other demonstrated competencies and achievements that are relevant to the subject matter to be taught.

In-depth knowledge of the subject area to be taught.
Proficiency in oral and written communication in the language in which assigned courses will be taught.
Ability to communicate effectively with and maintain positive working relationships with students, peers, supervisors, and staff.

A master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in the subject area or a related degree or a master’s degree in education. Previous teaching experience and experience with curriculum development and assessment.
