A master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in nursing or a related area, or a master’s degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline. Will consider a candidate with a BSN and nearing completion of a master’s degree in nursing from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. Current active unrestricted licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio, and recent clinical experience.

A doctorate degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in the subject area. Previous teaching experience and experience with curriculum development and assessment. Recent pediatric clinical experience preferred.

The part-time faculty member is responsible for providing professional, quality work as a teaching faculty member. Work includes facilitating student learning by conducting and teaching technical education courses at the undergraduate level, using active learning methods and a variety of instructional strategies designed to assist the learner in meeting the objectives of the course; assessing student learning; and providing academic assistance to students as needed.
