Central Bucks School District is Hiring a Personal care assistant Near Doylestown, PA
POSITION : Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Full-time / with benefits LOCATION : Kutz Elementary School
Exact hours TBD DESCRIPTION :
Duties include working one-to-one with a student with one or more of the following needs : autism / emotional / behavioral needs / intellectual and academic needs / organizational and impulsivity needs, in the classroom, specials, lunch and recess.
Assist student with daily activities, both academic and social.
If student toileting is required, additional $1.25 per hour will be added to base pay.
Employment contingent upon personal care services being required for the student's individualized educational program.
Utilization of crisis prevention techniques / strategies (including possible restraint as a last resort) with students who require such in their IEP.
Training will be provided via CBSD.
REQUIREMENTS : Must work as a team member, exercise good judgment, prioritize tasks,
effectively communicate with both students and adults and be a positive role model for students. PROCEDURE : Apply through the CBSD Employment Portal on or before May 17, 2024* . EOE
