By joining the St. Cloud Hospital Neuroscience Spine Unit as a Registered Nurse, you will work with a team of dedicated neuroscience trained staff providing quality, compassionate, safe patient care. We have a 45-bed unit consisting of 8 Neuro Progressive Care Unit beds and 37 general neuroscience patient rooms. The Neuroscience Spine Unit is a specialty unit designed to care for both pre/post-surgical and medical patient care within the Neurosciences specialty. care

The Neuroscience Spine Unit treats patients who have had Neurosurgical, Neuro-interventional, Neuro-medical diseases and disorders. In addition, we serve patients with the following diagnoses: stroke, seizure, multiple traumas, traumatic brain injuries, and others associated with the brain or spine. The Neuroscience Spine Unit has been awarded certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center based on our strong commitment to providing evidence-based, quality stroke care throughout the stroke patient care continuum. Our unit supports multiple professional development opportunities for growth and continued career advancement. We support national certification for our registered nurses focusing on neuroscience specialty Our staff practice within the team nursing model and consider teamwork our greatest strength in providing safe, quality, and compassionate patient care.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts to include 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., every other weekend, and rotating holidays. 
• 48-56 hours in a 2-week pay period.
• We offer self-scheduling with a variety of weekend patterns to support your personal and professional life

Pay: 

• $3,500 Hiring Bonus!
• Starting pay ADN $36.83, BSN $37.75, MSN $38.69, however we pay more for experience. 
• Evenings, overnight, and weekend shift differentials

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and current RN license in MN required.
• BSN or MSN preferred; BSN required within three years.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required.

To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare/Carris employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
