The Associate Operations Director, plans and directs the work of professional and support personnel who provide outpatient care to patients in a clinical setting. The Associate Director oversees the Clinic Administrators and requires a solid understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across departments.

Job Functions:

• Helps develop and leads implementation for staffing plans, policies and procedures for the facility and works closely with clinicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s) and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates.
• Represent the scope of health plan/provider relationship across such areas as financial performance, incentive programs, quality and clinical management, population health, data sharing, connectivity, documentation, and coding, HEDIS and STARs performance, operational improvements, and other areas as they relate to provider performance, member experience, market growth, provider experience and operational excellence.
• Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.

Required Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree,
• 5 or more years of supervisory experience in Value Based healthcare setting
• Strong relationship building and leadership skills.
• 2 or more years of demonstrated project management experience and partnering with senior leadership on strategic initiatives.
• Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting financial trends for health care costs, administrative expenses, and quality/bonus performance.
