Centerline is a digital marketing and creative agency for B2B brands.

Account Director

We are looking for an Account Director to identify, develop and grow new and existing client relationships.  The ideal candidate has ten or more years of direct account management experience in an agency environment. Work on B2B or tech accounts is a major plus.

In this role, you will collaborate with the Group Account Directors, EVP of Accounts as well as our Project Creative Directors, Strategists, Project Managers and internal creative teams to drive a wide-range of strategies and solutions. You will be accountable for meeting growth and margin targets on new and assigned accounts.  Ideal candidates understand how to cultivate relationships with Fortune 100 clients and empower internal team members in this highly driven culture.

As an Account Director, you will be called on to:

  • Lead assigned accounts while meeting set targets for growth, revenue and margin. 
  • Foster strong relationships with Fortune 1000 clients – typically Director and VP level.
  • Proactively uncover organic growth opportunities within existing accounts and help establish new business.
  • Provide  relevant, effective solutions to your clients business challenges by understanding their industry, competitive landscape and current/future business needs
  • Drive long term account growth planning
  • Monitor health and growth of accounts with an eye on budgets, timelines and quality of deliverables.

The ideal candidate will bring the following to the table:

  • 10 years of experience within an agency setting and a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proven client relationship building and leadership abilities
  • Extensive understanding of marketing and production processes
  • Comfort in leading client presentations, brainstorm sessions, and new business pitches
  • Experience working with B2B clients
  • Experience in leading and collaborating with cross-discipline teams -- including but not limited to project managers, developers, designers and strategists
  • Understanding of finance and budgeting processes
