Center for Reproductive Medicine is Hiring a Medical Assistant Near Minneapolis, MN

CRM is a premier medical practice specializing in the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of infertility, providing each patient “every conceivable chance for success.” We seek a full time Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist who is patient centered and empathetic to assist our Minneapolis clinic in meeting patient care needs.

Working in our Andrology and Embryology laboratories, you will

  • Serve as backup phlebotomist and perform venipuncture according to protocol
  • Answer patient phone calls, chart, and order labs in EMR
  • Stock and clean rooms, as needed
  • Sterilize equipment
  • Staff andrology department front desk – check in and room patients, schedule appointments, answer phones
  • Perform laboratory quality control activities
  • Set-up and assist the physician during egg retrieval procedures

Work Schedule 

This full-time position is scheduled work 40 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays. 

  • Monday – Thursday | 7:30 AM  4:00PM
  • Friday | 7:00 AM  3:30PM
  • Every third (3rdweekend (Saturday and Sunday) | 7:00 am – 11:00 am

Requirements

  • Current Phlebotomy skills required; certification a plus
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in healthcare setting
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with accuracy
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Computer and technical skills required – EMR, scanning, faxing, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
