CHEMED Health is seeking a friendly, organized and career-oriented individual to join our growing team of dedicated healthcare professionals as a Medical Receptionist. 1. Proactively greets patients upon arrival
2. Checks patients in; during every check in, registers new patients and ensures accuracy of existing patient demographics and forms by collecting patient information including personal and financial information
3. Collects copays from patients and prepares cash reconciliation sheet at the end of the day
4. Checks patients out; during check out, schedule any necessary follow up appointments, labs, radiology, and pending referrals
5. Assists patients in person and via telephone with questions or requests or directs them to appropriate department/location for further assistance
6. Keeps an eye on patient flow to ensure minimized wait time and notifies center staff of waiting patients, if necessary
