The Opportunity

The Quality Assurance Associate manages and analyzes key data informing CEO’s social enterprise management, including but not limited to time and attendance, GPS, revenue, and safety incident reports. They are responsible for gathering, structuring, and maintaining data across platforms, including Salesforce, Tableau, and spreadsheets, and leveraging the data to make recommendations on improving overall social enterprise quality. The Associate plays a key role in supporting compliance with CEO policies and local labor laws by monitoring data sources and preparing reports for CEO’s Program Delivery leadership, Social Enterprise Support teams, Legal and Compliance team, and Executive team. 

This role works closely with both local program leadership teams, composed of Deputy Executive Directors, Regional and Site Directors, and Social Enterprise Managers, as well as centralized support teams such as Social Enterprise Support, Legal and Compliance, and Strategy and Innovation. This individual also frequently engages with and provides materials for CEO’s President and Board of Directors. Offices in CEO’s various regions have a range of compliance requirements and reporting needs. This role requires a high level of organization, planning and attention to detail to manage the analysis, reporting, compliance, audit and data entry related to social enterprise quality.

The Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) provides employment services to people recently released from incarceration. Across the United States, 8,000-9,000 people participate in CEO each year, transitioning to employment that supports themselves, their families, and their communities.

What began as a demonstration project of the Vera Institute of Justice in the 1970s to address employment barriers facing the formerly incarcerated following release in New York City has grown into the leading reentry employment organization in the country, where over 30,000 formerly incarcerated individuals have secured full-time employment since 1996.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Key responsibilities of the (title) include but are not limited to:

Data Analysis

  • Analyze key quality-related data in support of CEO’s Social Enterprise and regional Program Leadership teams 
  • Identify key performance indicators for CEO’s social enterprise operations and measure performance against these metrics
  • Using a variety of data sources, identify improvements to CEO’s social enterprise operations and work with stakeholder teams to implement them
  • Create reports and dashboards in Salesforce, Google Sheets, and/or Tableau to track performance

Compliance

  • Gather, structure, and manage all social enterprise data relevant to compliance with CEO policies and local labor laws
  • Track all reporting requirements and ensure compliance with deadlines and deliverables
  • Work closely with other Social Enterprise Support team members to understand gaps in compliance and implement corrective actions

Develop reports and dashboards in Salesforce to streamline reporting processes

Team Support

  • Serve as an active and proactive contributor and collaborator of the larger Program Services team including leading team meetings, lending expertise, and supporting colleagues with projects and initiatives 
  • Keep leadership team apprised of any issues or challenges related to social enterprise quality in specific sites or regions
  • Serve as primary contact for local and regional leadership on data related social enterprise questions 
  • Develop processes, in coordination with local staff, to make data gathering and data entry more efficient and timely
  • Develop data collection practices appropriate for different local office needs

Assist with other duties in support of CEO’s mission as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • You have 2 years of experience working with data sets and web-based data systems
  • Proficiency in all of the following areas:
    • Coordinating multiple time-sensitive workflows
    • Compiling reports to support data-driven recommendations
    • Managing relationships with multiple customers with competing priorities
    • Providing unparalleled customer service, both to clients and to internal stakeholders 

MUST HAVE SKILLS OR COMPETENCIES

  • Knowledge of data and troubleshooting the best ways in which to organize it to ensure seamless and insightful analysis
  • Attention to detail and timeliness combined with excellent time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects with moving deadlines
  • Ability to build rapport with stakeholders which support you in asking others for the information you need to push your work forward
  • Resilient, keeping eye on the end result while working under pressure
  • Deep interest in learning about technical details
  • Highly proficient in Google Suite, especially Google Sheets, able to utilize functions that support reporting projects
  • Experience with Salesforce, especially in reporting and dashboarding functions
  • Comfortable and confident in data analysis and reporting and have demonstrated experience in using data to inform your perspective and decision-making
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and implement timely changes to optimize CEO’s program functions and manage operational, performance, and customer concerns

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $50,200-$67,250/annually. CEO's compensation philosophy considers a variety of factors including experience, internal equity, and the labor market associated with the city in which the position is located. The labor markets associated with the cities in which CEO is based are variable, and the salary range included here reflects this. Our salary offer will fall within this range and will be reflective of the labor market of the city in which the position is based, as well the other factors named above.
