Rehabilitation Aide
The Center for Elders’ Independence is a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) organization that uses an interdisciplinary team approach to care planning and care implementation for the purpose of providing high quality, affordable, integrated health care services to the elderly, including an Adult Day Health Center, and promoting autonomy, quality of life and the ability of individuals to live in their communities.
The rate range for the Rehab Aide role at Center For Elders Independence is 20.00 to 28.55/hr. Wages/salary are based on the market for the Rehab Aide position, as well as experience, skills, abilities and work history
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS FULL-TIME, FULLY BENEFITED "FLOAT" POSITION. THE PERSON HOLDING THIS ROLE WILL NOT REPORT TO THE SAME CENTER EVERY DAY AND WILL "FLOAT" TO DIFFERENT CENTERS AS THERE IS NEED FOR COVERAGE FOR THOSE ON PTO, LEAVES. NEED OF ADDITIONAL SUPPORT, ETC. OUR SITES ARE LOCATED IN OAKLAND, BERKELEY, SAN LEANDRO, AND CONCORD
The Position: Works under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Supervisor and by the instruction of the Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist or Registered Nurse to carry out maintenance programs for CEI participants. Provides direct care, maintains treatment areas and equipment, performs clerical duties and assists as requested with supportive services of the Center.
