The Center for Creative Education is hiring educators who will help lead a model of change in the way that education is thought about, delivered, and experienced. This change in teaching and learning is grounded in a child-centered atmosphere, respect for both teacher and learner, and focuses heavily on fundamentals and the development of a creative mindset.

• Develop clear and measurable objectives.
• Develop and document a variety of creative assessments so that students can demonstrate their knowledge and determine whether objectives are met or not.
• Value and implement effective communication among everyone involved in the teaching-learning continuum.
• Value and implement the teaching of social and emotional competencies such as the Responsive Classroom approach.
• Inform their teaching through professional development and continuing education.
• Uphold all policies established by the Center for Creative Education.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree is required, and a master’s degree is preferred.
• An active and unencumbered Florida Teaching License is required.
• A comprehensive understanding of curriculum and child development is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FLMA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FLMA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
