The Center for Court Innovation is a non-profit organization that works to create a more effective and humane justice system by performing original research and helping launch reforms by guiding justice innovators, nationally and internationally. The Center creates operating projects that have been documented to reduce the use of jail and prison, assist victims of crime, and strengthen communities.
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accounting Clerk will support the completeness, timeliness and accuracy of financial statements and reports.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, with Associate Degree and 2 years of bookkeeping experience preferred. Candidate must have good arithmetic, communication and organizational skills. Strong knowledge of computers, including Excel, Microsoft Word and the Internet required.
Position Type: Full-time, salaried exempt.
Location: Midtown Manhattan
Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience.
