Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated EFDA to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring the comfort of patients. Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready
- Take dental X-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Current certification as Expanded Function Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and anatomy
- Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping
- Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for dental restorations is a plus
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient privacy
- Experience working with Dentrix is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
