Role Summary:
The nursing faculty member isexpected to willingly accept the mission and philosophy of the nursing programand demonstrate behaviors consistent with the profession and a culture ofcaring. The faculty member is accountable for the implementation of theapproved curriculum and provides the learner with opportunities to acquire andpractice the behaviors identified in the course objectives using varied andappropriate teaching methods. The faculty plan learning activities to meetcourse and program outcomes and meet the standards set by policies, legal andother regulatory requirements, and professional guidelines. The faculty advises students for successfulprogram progression and evaluates student achievement of identified learningoutcomes.
