CENCLEAR is Hiring a Department Assistant Near Huntingdon, PA

CenClear, a provider of mental health and substance use disorder services, is seeking a dedicated and organized Department Assistant (during the evening hours) to join our team in Huntingdon, PA. This full-time role is an opportunity to be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. Hours

Evening Coverage: 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. This position will work Monday to Friday 10:30 am to 7:00 pm to provide additional support and coverage front desk support in the evenings.

Compensation

Salary: $33,000.00-$34,000.00

Responsibilities

  • Provide a welcoming environment for clients and visitors
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Check clients in and out for appointments
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars
  • Process payments for services rendered
  • Perform data entry and maintain client records
  • Adheres to guidelines of confidentiality.
  • Assist with intake process and scheduling of new clients
  • Operate office equipment and utilize Microsoft Office programs
  • Travel periodically to satellite offices in surrounding counties as needed
  • Assist the intake department by helping to manage and schedule incoming referrals
  • Provide exceptional customer service to external entities, individuals accessing treatment, and families involved in the referral process.
  • Complete screening tools in accordance with program requirements.
  • Verify insurance or alternate funding source; either through EVS verification online or through Insurance Specialist.
  • Schedule intakes in accordance with program timeframes and with appropriate staff member(s).
  • Coordinate dates/times with appropriate staff member(s) to maintain scheduling of intakes.
  • Manage volume of work based on established schedule or according to flow of documentation.
  • Coordinate appropriate information to other staff/outside agencies in an efficient and effective manner.

Qualifications

  • Business or associate degree or 3 to 5 years of related job experience
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Prior knowledge of computer software, office equipment, and Microsoft Office programs preferred
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Must obtain the following clearances prior to hire: PA State Police Criminal History, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Criminal History, and Mandated Reporting Certificate
