WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Answer inbound phone calls from customers seeking to place orders for placing services equipment (pumps or conveyors). Enter order information into software for equipment, answer customer questions about equipment and products. Maintain department reports, work with Dispatch personnel to maximize utilization of placing services equipment. Provide positive customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers by phone

• Enter customer data into computer system

• Assist pump operators with questions as they arise

• Solicit future orders from customers and enter data into the computer system.

• Negotiate with customers an acceptable delivery time based on equipment and availability.

• Document customer complaints and forward them to Placing Services Dispatch Manager and/or Sales Representative.

• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Three to five years related experience in Customer Service and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient computer and data entry skills, knowledge of Command Data System a plus; ability to apply basic computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office suite products.

• Knowledge of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro and surrounding areas, ability to read and understand maps.

• Enjoy collaborating and working with customers in a positive and productive way to resolve any discrepancies and ensure products are available as required.
