JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

As the Marketing Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding and leading a dynamic marketing team to achieve strategic goals and drive impactful results. You will own the brand and content strategy for digital and traditional channels. In addition to strategic planning and team management, you will play a crucial role in reporting and analyzing marketing results, providing valuable insights to optimize future campaigns and contribute to overall business growth.

Essential Functions

  • Manage and mentor direct reports providing guidance, setting goals and conducting performance reviews to foster professional growth and team success.
  • Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Develop comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business objectives and target audience demographics. Implement marketing campaigns across various channels including email, SMS, SEO, social media, website and more.
  • Digital Marketing: Partner and oversee paid digital marketing initiatives with our advertising agency on channels including display, paid search, paid social, and more. Monitor performance metrics and analytics to optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness. Utilize data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and target potential buyers effectively.
  • Content Creation: Work closely with our in-house creative team to create compelling and engaging content for marketing materials such as marketing copy, design, and video content. Ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Data Analysis: Partner with Business Intelligence team to analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement. Report on ROI and probability of marketing tactics to leadership.
  • Campaign Execution: Gain a thorough understanding of our products, standards, and differentiators so that strategies can be developed for more-effective communications and brand awareness. This includes promotional rollouts, launches, and other key initiatives for the business.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does have direct reports.

Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical DemandsMust be able to sit for long periods of time. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing
  • Experience managing direct reports preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of various marketing and analytics tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, and content management systems
  • Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
