Location: Boston, MassachusettsJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $55 - 65 per hourOur client, a global leader in athletic footwear, apparel, and equipment, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Footwear Project Manager to join their dynamic team and drive the successful execution of high-impact projects!As a Footwear Project Manager, you will have full end-to-end control of project activities, ensuring alignment and collaboration among different teams. You will manage and coordinate cross-functional activities for the entire project lifecycle, maintaining change control of project spreadsheets and aligning on important dates and gates. You will build and maintain close relationships with the China team, transition team, external partners, and senior leaders to ensure timely accomplishment of project activities and will lead a small team of 3-4 senior leaders, steering projects to successful completion.Responsibilities:Collaborate with project sponsors and internal teams to define business requirements and project scope.Manage change control against scope and its impacts on time, cost, and quality.Define project schedules, manage task assignments, and track work against the schedule.Facilitate level of effort estimating and developing asset acquisition requirements.Track and report on actuals against forecast.Provide guidance and direction on project methodology and best practices using brand-standard project methodology.Define and manage project success/delivery criteria and monitor and report on the realization of project success against set criteria.Define risk management plans, and analyze risks for criticality, probability, and impact.Develop risk mitigation strategies and assign owners and actions.Qualifications:Experience level: ExperiencedEducation: Bachelors8-9 years of project management experience across complex projects.Must be PMP certified to qualify for this role.Highly proficient with project management methodologies.Experience with Smartsheets.Experience in apparel, footwear, and/or textile development industries.Proven ability to communicate and work effectively with senior leaders.Demonstrated ability to protect confidential information.
