CEFCO Convenience Stores are now looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their team in Temple, Texas. This position will oversee our accounts payable department and ensure efficient and accurate processing invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles.

This position is not eligible for remote or hybrid work. This position will be stationed at our corporate office in Temple, Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises and leads a team of Accounting Specialists.
• Reviews and approves invoices for payment.
• Ensures invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconciles vendor statements and resolves any discrepancies.
• Maintains accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
• Prepared month-end and year-end reports.
• Assist with audits and compliance requirements.
• Identified opportunities for process improvement and implements solutions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma - some college preferred.
• 3 years' experience in accounts payable or related accounting role.
• 1 years' supervisory experience prefered.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Intermediate-level skills in MS Office Suite - specifically Excel. Must have recent experience using accounting systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
