JOB SUMMARY:

• Safety Inspector to audit our facilities and limit the health or injury risks to our employees.

• We are looking for candidates who are willing to travel within a broad territory, conducting inspections and documenting any potential issues.

• During these visits, you may also lead training seminars and review procedures with our employees.

• This role is not only essential to our compliance with federal and state safety regulations, but also to the health and efficiency of our workforce.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Compile safety programs

• Practice safe working techniques

• Implement and maintain health and safety standards

• Establish a cordial and professional relationship with employees

• Maintain compliance with all safety regulations

• Conduct regular staff meetings to share best practice techniques

• Standardize health and safety in order to remain consistent

• Identify hazardous waste and disposing of it correctly

• Promote safety initiatives

Compile and maintain relevant registers to ensure compliance

Document staff information, minutes of meetings, and reports compiled for management

• Regularly inspect equipment

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required

• Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred, not required

• OSHA 30 certification

• Valid driver's license

• Attention to detail
