POSITION: Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Certified Nurse Mid-wife functions as a primary healthcare provider for women and most often provides medical care for relatively healthy women, whose births are considered uncomplicated and not "high risk," as well as their neonates, including ante-partum, intra-partum, postpartum and nonsurgical gynecological care. (In hospital deliveries)
Part-time/Exempt

EDUCATION/TRAINING:Must have a Master’s Degree in Nursing. Current unrestricted MN License. Current registration certificate of DEA. American Midwifery Board Certification
SKILL(S):
- Strong communication skills are required to interact effectively with patients, family members, multidisciplinary team members, community agencies, and other resource providers
- Must possess skills to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form
- Possess time management skills
- Possess critical thinking skills
EXPERIENCE:Midwifery preferred.
