RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Automotive accounting managers are responsible for managing financial processes, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, and general ledger activities.
• They collaborate with dealership managers to create and monitor budgets, track expenses, and forecast financial performance.
• Automotive accounting managers generate accurate financial reports for the dealer/general manager, providing insights into the dealership’s financial health.
• They oversee title work processes, ensuring proper documentation for vehicle sales and transfers.
• Managing billing processes related to vehicle sales, service, and parts.
• Supervising administrative staff, maintaining office files, and organizing records.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and dealership policies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Automotive experience preferred
• Proficient at Microsoft Office: E-mail, Excel and Word.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a process driven environment.
• Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written.
• Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday.
• Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections & negotiating pricing.
• A minimum of two years of accounting or office management experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Strong working knowledge of dealership accounting practices.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
• Effective communication with dealership managers and staff.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• All applicants must have a valid Driver’s License with a clear MVR as well as submit to pre-employment screening to include criminal background check and drug screening.
