Catholic United Financial is Hiring a Sales Assistant (Member Outreach Specialist) Near Arden, MN

Description

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Assistant to serve our growing sales teams.

This Sales Assistant role, what we call our Sales Outreach Specialist is part of a team responsible for providing sales, service, and support to the select Members for each sales team, as well as supporting Regional Directors, Member Advisors and prospective Members in key Member outreach functions. 

Key duties include serving as the primary point of contact between Member Service activities and Member Advisors, while performing administrative functions such as data entry for leads and follow up on service work and making appointments.

This is not a remote position - this position works in our Home Office in Arden Hills, MN.

Requirements

Our Sales Assistant:

  • Serves as the main contact or advocate between Member Services and Member Advisors in resolving workflow issues and efficiencies.
  • Tracks and follows up on service work as an advocate for Member Advisors with Member Services, Inside Sales, etc.
  • Provides and executes follow-up and solutions for our Member Advisors with our Member Service department colleagues.
  • Serves as the first line of contact between Members and Member Advisors at the Home Office Agency.
  • Responsible for entry into the Contact Management System on notes and leads for unassigned Members and prospects Members on daily basis, as needed.
  • Sets appointments for our Member Advisors and Sales Support w/ current Members and prospective Members.
  • Performs data entry for ongoing Sales Support projects such as leads, and other administrative work. 
  • Handles calls or walk in business on policyholders/Members to deliver and explain policy, to suggest additions or changes in insurance program, or to make changes in beneficiaries while performing service duties.
  • In coordination with Regional Directors/Team Leads/Member Advisors, contacts current and prospective Members to create sales lead opportunities for the Sales Department.
  • Regular attendance with the ability to work assigned hours as needed. This is not a remote position.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this Sales Assistant job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. As Catholic United sells financial products and services to Catholic members and prospective Catholic members, while you do not have to be Catholic, you must be generally aware of and comfortable with the religious practices and organization of the Roman Catholic Church.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and OTHER

  • Associate degree or minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience
  • Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Teams, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Imaging, and I Pipeline and other technical support platforms and software.
  • Experience in sales or a sales environment preferred.
  • Previous customer experience preferred.
  • Experience in life insurance or financial services preferred.
  • Outgoing personality with attention to detail and strong work ethic.
  • Experience in juggling multiple administrative and detail-oriented responsibilities for multiple individuals.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 

  • Valid Class D Minnesota Driver’s License helpful.
  • Ability to obtain a MN Life/Health Insurance licenses, resident and non-resident licensing helpful. Catholic United Financial will assist in obtaining.
  • Completion of FIC Designation helpful. Catholic United Financial will assist in obtaining.
