Job Summary:

As a Senior Analyst in the Financial Institutions Group (FIG), you will play a critical role in supporting and driving financial advisory services, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other strategic advisory services for clients within the financial sector. This position requires a deep understanding of the financial services industry, superior analytical abilities, and robust client management skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling to evaluate business opportunities and risks in the financial institutions sector.
  • Prepare detailed client reports and presentations, providing insights and recommendations for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial strategies.
  • Support deal execution from initiation to closure, including due diligence, document preparation, and transaction coordination.
  • Collaborate with senior bankers to develop innovative financial solutions that meet clients' strategic goals.
  • Engage directly with clients, providing updates and strategic advice on market trends and financial opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes, economic trends, and competitive dynamics affecting financial institutions.
  • Participate in and contribute to client meetings and pitch presentations.
  • Mentor and assist in training junior analysts and interns.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards of investment banking.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
  • 1-5 years of experience in investment banking, specifically within a financial institutions group or related sector.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent understanding of the financial services industry and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of success in financial analysis and client management.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
