Come join the Catholic Eldercare family as our RN -- Nurse Manager! This role is responsible for the twenty-four (24) hour care plan for residents' nursing care and safety. Additonally this role will assume the Director role when this responsibility is required during the Director's absence.

Schedule: This is a full time, exempt position. This position typically works business hours M-F, but is part of our shared nurse on-call rotation as well for after hours triage calls.

Catholic Eldercare is a community of residential facilities in Northeast Minneapolis offering services in assisted living, independent living, skilled nursing, memory care, transitional care, and adult day services.

Responsibilities

Lead the frontline nursing staff and deliver excellent patient care. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for creating an environment of patient-focused care, defining standards for quality patient care, managing and developing work-based teams for assigned shifts, training new staff and providing leadership to our nursing team. The nurse manager is responsible for working with the interdisciplinary team to manage the clinical staff and program to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care and services consistent with regulations and established clinical best practices. The nurse manager has responsibility as a member of the site leadership team to participate in the planning and implementation of strategies and programming that assure high quality resident care while achieving short and long-term operation goals and objectives for the site.

Qualifications

• Current RN license to practice in the State of Minnesota.
• Prior supervisory and management experience in Nursing with at least three years of long-term care experience.
• Possess the ability to apply rehabilitative, psychiatric, medical-surgical, and gerontological nursing and assessment skills in practice.
• Display sound judgment and maturity and can self-direct.
• Possess the ability to organize, set priorities, and handle stressful situations and emergencies.
• Possess the ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including visual and auditory acuity.
