- Lesson implementation and classroom preparation
- Assist with student supervision and maintaining the health and safety of all students
- Snack time, gym and outside playground duties
- Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, playtime and developmental growth
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Assist lead teacher with communication with parents on students' growth and progress
- Create a fun and safe learning environment while promoting emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual growth for our students
- Complete all State of Michigan licensing annual requirements for teachers
- Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
