Catholic Charities West Michigan is Hiring a Foster Care Supervisor (Benton Harbor) Near Benton, MI

Responsible for the day to day functioning of direct child welfare (foster care, adoption and/or licensing) workers. Provide clinical supervision and performance support.

Annual Salary Range: $49,840.00-$55,840.00

$3,750.00 signing bonus- paid out in three increments over an 18-month period with the first increment paid on the first full paycheck following employment start date given you have 3 years previous experience in Foster Care

$7,500.00 signing bonus- paid out in three increments over an 18-month period with the first increment paid on the first full paycheck following employment start date given you have 1 year previous experience as a Child Welfare (Foster Care) Supervisor and are CWTI trained and certified.

A typical day in the life as a Foster Care Supervisor:

  • Provide direct staff with direct clinical supervision
  • Reviews reports for policy, contract and department compliance
  • Provides direct staff with essential verbal and written communication
  • Compiling data for contractual requirements
  • Coordinates services with staff and families
  • Participates in on-call placements and emergency services
  • Drives and transports as needed

  • Ability to prepare reports, maintain records, and collect and evaluate client data.
  • Ability to read and interpret data

  • Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
  • Ability to meet requirements of all contracts, licensing regulations and State/Federal oversight

Employment Qualifications:

Education:

  • A Bachelor Degree through an accredited college/university and three years Foster Care experience is required.
  • A Master Degree and three years Child Welfare experience preferred.

Experience:

  • Master Degree preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • CWTI Certification preferred

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does have supervisory responsibilities.
