Bi-Lingual Spanish Speaking Required : Essential Functions* of the position are detailed below and include any physical requirements checked below : 1.
Provides clerical support to the Center. 2. Complies with food safety and sanitation guidelines according to local, state, and federal guidelines for assigned location.
3. Receives food from caterer each morning and ensures the quantity received matches what was ordered. 4. Measures the temperature of the food upon receipt and at prescribed intervals throughout the day and documents temperature findings.
5. Ensures meals are served at the correct times and at the correct temperature for consumption. 6. Ensures the safety of participants with food allergies by ensuring participants are not served or exposed to foods that could cause and allergic reaction in accordance with agency / programmatic procedures, professional standards, and external requirements.
7. Ensures kitchen supplies are maintained in working order and in sanitary condition and that proper quantities are available and notifies the Program Manager when supplies are needed.
8. Provides receptionist support by greeting participants and assisting participants, as needed. 9. Ensures compliance with all agency / programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies while performing job duties.
10. In the absence of the Senior Center Manager, assigns work to volunteers and part-time staff. PLEASE NOTE : *Essential functions include all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
X Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling or standing multiple times a day. X Push and pull objects up to 25 pounds.
X Climb up and down up to 1 flights of stairs at a time. X Lift up to 25 pounds. Additional Requirements : Other Requirements : Comply with program and / or Agency requirements related to : X Background check, including any program specific requirements Physical examination Drug Testing TB Testing Driver's License and reliable transportation Agency specified automobile insurance Additional Requirements : May be required to work evenings, weekends and holiday coverage.
