The Collections Assistant is responsible for assisting the Collections Manager with daily operations within the office. This includes collecting on shipping payments, ensuring all claims are filed/collected, coordinating schedules, assisting the Business Development, Collections and Data Entry team, updating the CRM, conducting Zoom customer calls, developing PowerPoint presentations, and participating in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s). They will be responsible for navigating multiple online sites, data entry/retrieval, customer communication via email, phone, Zoom, etc., and managing client relationships. You Are:

You Will:
Assisting the Collections Manager
Collecting outstanding freight payments
Utilizing strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills along with strong proficiency in managing Microsoft Outlook emails to maintain customer relations and navigate the claims collection process
Utilizing strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to create, update and maintain customer reports and presentations
Utilizing a strong ability to navigate multiple online payment sites to collect information
Assist with select administrative functions related to different project opportunities
Any other duties delegated by Collections Manager.
You Have:
Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
The ability to navigate, manage and respond promptly to forty or more daily email communications.
Exceptional organizational skills
A positive, solution-oriented approach to dealing with conflicts
Comfort working under deadlines and completing tasks effectively and on time with the team.
Ability to multi-task and be flexible
Strong oral, written communication and effective listening skills
Tact, professionalism, a mature demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with diverse personalities
A self-directed, energetic, friendly, and outgoing personality
An interest in working onsite in the Mount Pleasant office daily and with a highly collaborative team
Two years of experience in office administration or management (preferred)
An Associate or Bachelor's Degree or commensurate work experience
