Position: Office Support Specialist - Payeeship
This position is responsible for managing payee accounts for consumers with severe and persistent mental illness. Duties include managing all client check deposits, client budgets, payables and facilities, management of related reports, contracts, and the flow of information necessary to support program operation as well as grant administration. Position is also responsible for monthly building inspections and assisting with required emergency drills.
Position Requirements:
Prefer candidate with experience in behavioral health. High School diploma with a least one year of experience in medical billing/reimbursement.
Must have good interpersonal skills as this position involves interaction with various internal staff and external payers. Knowledge of Social Security, Department of Social Services and other payeeship requirements, rules and regulations.
Software systems include Greenway Health, Alpha MCS, NC Tracks, Palmetto GBA, various insurance portals, Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Must have working knowledge of Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software.
Ideal candidate works well in a team environment. Respects and preserve the privacy, confidentiality, and security of all confidential information. Other duties as assigned or appointed including, but not limited to business/rack card creation, forms, etc.
