The Legal Aid Society of Rochester, NY is Hiring a Grants Administrator Near Rochester, NY

The Grants Administrator is part of the Grant and Program Administration Team, which consists of the Director of Grants and the Director of Program Administration. The primary responsibilities include grant reporting and assistance administrating the LASROC case management system LegalServer.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare all LASROC grant reports; compile client information and work with the Grants Team to report the information to funders.
  • Review all grant criteria, including due dates and reporting requirements, and assist the Director of Grants in developing forms and methodologies for gathering information and or reporting program information, including maintenance of the grants calendar for all reporting requirements.
  • Assist in managing the LASROC case management system LegalServer; provide backup to the Director of Program Administration as an administrator of the case management system.
  • Run Specific Health Check Reports in the LASROC case management system, maintain data integrity, identify gaps in data entry, and follow up with staff and Program Directors as needed to rectify data entry issues.
  • Beta test new features along with the Director of Program Administration in the case management system
  • Responsible for gathering impact measurements/program deliverables, demographic statistics, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly program reports for review by the Program Directors and Director of Program Strategies and Retention.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Grants and Director of Program Administration as needed.
  • Attend and participate in LASROC staff meetings/gatherings.
  • Additional duties at the discretion of the Director of Grants.

Qualifications:

  • A. or B.S. with two years’ minimum relevant experience or a High School Diploma and ten years’ minimum relevant experience or some combination of the above.
  • Well-organized, analytical individual who can pay attention to detail with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated creativity in developing forms and methodology for grant management and new processes.
  • Familiarity with database programs, Word, and spreadsheet skills using Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate office equipment such as a computer, photocopier, and fax machine.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively with others in a team environment.
