This role is unique here at Emerald Valley as we looking for someone interested in working across multiple departments, Dietary and Environmental Services. Below is more information about the responsibilities of each position.
Currently we are looking for a Part Time Cook, one day a week, with the potential of this position to be full time if interested in joining our Envronmental Services Team.
Working as a Cook, with our wellness team, you will:
- Be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, including properly preparing, serving, and storing food
- Ensure the special dietary needs of residents are met
- Make a significant contribution to our residents' quality of life by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency of meals prepared and served
- Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
- Work in a team environment where communication is key
- Promote the mission, values, and beliefs of Cascade Living
Working as a Housekeeper with our environmental services team, you will:
- Cleans (dust, dry mop, wet mop, sanitize, scrub) assigned resident apartments and common areas daily
- Washes and folds laundry, distributes clean linens and towels and maintains a stocked cleaning cart
- Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
- Make a significant contribution to the quality of life of our residents by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency
- Actively participates as a member of a team and committed to working toward team goals
- Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living
