We are excited to announce that we are hiring an action-oriented Shipping Distribution Clerk!
For more than 40 years Cascade Coffee has been the premier specialty coffee contract manufacturer in the Pacific Northwest. Specializing in roasting, grinding, flavoring, and packaging coffee, catering to the world’s finest coffee brands worldwide. Cascade works behind the scenes to provide innovation, world-class coffee roasting, and a wide variety of packaging options to highlight their loyal customer’s brands.
Founded in 1977, the company operates from a 150,000 square foot manufacturing and roasting facility, more than 2 million pounds of green coffee storage facility, 50 million pounds annually of coffee roasting capacity as well as multiple roasting lines, flavor mixing systems and 14 automated packaging lines.
STARTING WAGE: $18.00 - $20.00; DOE
SCHEDULE: 2:30PM – 11:00PM (2nd Shift)
REPORTS TO: Warehouse Supervisor

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize a forklift to efficiently and safely move and load pallets of finished goods on 53’ trailers.
- Complete all necessary paperwork for the entire shipping process of each outbound truck, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Organize, consolidate, and strategically place new products in shipping lanes on a daily basis, ensuring smooth production flow.
- Maintain a First-In/First-Out system to guarantee that expiry requirements are met without any spoilage.
- Overtime may be required to complete loading of pick-ups on a day-to-day basis.
- Perform general housekeeping tasks in and around storage areas on a daily basis, promoting cleanliness and organization.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and refine methods of job performance, seeking out opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Uphold and deliver safe, high-quality, and consistent products and services that not only meet but exceed the expectations of our valued customers.
- Adhere to the guidelines and requirements outlined in the General Safety Communication Program.
- Complete any additional duties or tasks that may be assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the team.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Forklift Experience Required
- Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Lift up to 50 - 100lbs occasionally
- Attention to Detail
- Able to Accurately Perform Repetitive Tasks
WORK ENVIROMENT AND EQUIPMENT:
- This is a warehouse position inside a warm and dry facility.
- This position requires work in a warehouse roasting facility that requires constant standing on concrete floors, exposed to loud equipment noise and subject to coffee dust strong odors.
- Personal protection equipment and other Good Manufacturing Practices are mandatory.
WORK HABITS:
- Regular attendance and promptness are required for this position.
- Some work may be required outside of the normal work week.
