Job Description:

• This position coordinates with the Quality Department and reports to the Quality Manager

• You will perform warehousing operations for materials and components procured for aerospace composite parts manufacturing and materials testing services.
• Duties includes processing of materials received against purchase order requirements, stocking, weekly count verifications and distribution to manufacturing and testing departments. Prepare items for shipment including creation of shippers and packaging to protect parts.
• Delivery and pickup of parts and materials to and from our suppliers and customers
• The individual selected will be proactive and service-oriented with excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily stocking activities.
• Receive items against purchase order requirements and process into our system
• Fulfilment of work order hardware & support equipment requirements for operations
• Collect and prepare items for shipment including creation of shippers and packaging to protect parts.
• Delivery of hardware, kits, or support equipment to the Manufacturing and Testing teams
• Perform weekly cycle counts and monthly inventory counts
• Manage and track raw materials including moving rolls or raw material into and out of walk in freezers
• Maintaining stocking areas to accommodate adjusting volumes and storage requirements as driven by production activity
• Identifying opportunities for improvement in stocking and material handling processes
• Safely and securely handling product with a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Ability to operate company truck for pickups and deliveries of parts and materials when necessary.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with the customer or supplier

Qualifications:

• Prefer 1 year of experience in shipping/receiving related activities.
• Basic math skills
• Ability to safely drive a forklift and perform elevated work. At a minimum, a desire to be trained to operate a forklift
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus
• Familiarity with Quick Books is a plus
• Attention to detail
• Reliability where consistent attendance is a must
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.

• Data entry skills

Mandatory Skills:

• Ability to read/write/speak English
• Forklift experience or willingness to be trained.
• A valid driver's license

• Must be a US Person (US Citizen or Resident Alien).

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and communicate and listen to instructions. The employee is occasionally required to sit; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Normal working conditions in a manufacturing environment. The work environment characteristics described herein are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
