Casa Bonita Denver is Hiring a Custodial Lead (Bilingual Required) Near Lakewood, CO
Description:
Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the guests and employees of Casa Bonita through the diligent and rapid response to all custodial employees during operating hours.
- Performs daily scheduled and reactive cleaning that includes, but is not limited to:
- Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors,
- Dusting and vacuuming of fixtures including rockface, decoration and furniture,
- Periodic carpet scrubbing,
- Servicing restrooms,
- Window washing,
- Wiping down arcade games. etc.
- Cleans walkways, walls, fixtures and surfaces to ensure cleanliness and safe conditions during operating hours
- Responds to custodial requests such as cleaning spills, mopping up moisture, extracting stains, replacing full trash receptacles, cleaning windows/mirrors, refilling restroom supplies
- Follows Blood Borne pathogens training for cleaning up of spills of bodily fluids
- Clean the exterior of the building as needed to include, but not limited to trash collection, pressure washing, light landscaping, and snow removal, ice melting, etc.
- Accurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment
- Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
- Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements
- Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
- Work a variety of hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of Casa Bonita.
- Other duties as assigned to meet the need of the organization
- Checks out with manager and finishes any tasks requested
- In an emergency aids and clears building per the applicable emergency policy
- Fills out any necessary incident or injury reports prior to shift ending, and confirming all injuries must be reported immediately to a supervisor
- May be asked to do other tasks as needed
- Performs all job-related functions in a cordial friendly manner committed to exceeding guest and team member expectations
- Must have 2 years' experience in cleaning a large facility
- Must have a minimum of 1 years of experience in a high paced environment.
- Must be over 21 years old
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to remain standing, walk, and run during complete working shift.
- Must be able to bend, kneel and reach the flor and items above shoulder level
- Must be able to use handhelds and phone.
- Must attend all orientation and training shifts
- Must complete 90 day probationary period
- Able to work effectively independently as well as part of the team
- Able to multitask and work in an extremely fast paced environment
- Speed, Accuracy and efficiency are required as well as the ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to work in a loud, distracting environment with flashing lights, haze machines, ongoing shows, and large numbers of guests constantly moving around you.
- Willing to follow procedures and take direction
- Supportive of other team members
- Can compete repetitive tasks while maintaining quality
- We background check all employees and don't accept the following offenses. (Assault, Crimes against a Minor, Sex Offenses
- Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, late nights, holidays and special events. All shifts include a minimum of one weekend day.
- PTO Blackout period from Thanksgiving week till January. (Though we are closed Thanksgiving and Christmas for employees to spend with their families.)
$17.29-$20.00 DOE
