WHAT EXACTLY DOES A REAL ESTATE AGENT DO?
As a Real Estate Agent, you negotiate great deals for your clients and facilitate the sales
process. While other people were studying textbooks, you were developing real-world skills
that make you perfect for this job: you learned how to plan, how to be persistent, and how to
problem-solve.
When a client is looking to sell, you quickly create a savvy sales plan to maximize their chances of success. You provide sound advice on everything from boosting curb appeal to formulating a smart pricing strategy. Then you get to work promoting the property: posting on listing services, advertising on social media sales groups, and hosting open houses. Your persistence pays off when the offers start flooding in! Serving as your clients' intermediary and advocate, you negotiate favorable terms. Clients are grateful for your problem-solving skills as you coordinate with inspectors, appraisers, and escrow companies to make sure the sale proceeds smoothly.
You also have the exciting challenge of matching buyers with their ideal homes. You stay up to date on current houses for sale and schedule showings of properties that suit each buyer’s needs. You’re no stranger to working with a budget, and you do everything you can to negotiate the most affordable deal for your clients
