The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting in both accounting, payroll, and human resources activities.

Duties include but not limited to:

· Assist with monthly financial statements as assigned

· Assist with payroll processing, including data entry, verification of hours worked, and addressing employee payroll inquiries

· Handle new hire, termination, and change of status forms with payroll

· Process all aspects of the employee benefits and enrollments

· Maintains employee records ensuring compliance with legal requirements and data privacy regulations

Qualifications / Experience:

· Fundamental accounting principles knowledge

· Thorough, detail-oriented individual who can balance multiple tasks

Education: Associated accounting degree or currently pursuing accounting degree

Salary and benefits: $40,000-$50,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development
