Role Overview

As a Construction Inspector, you will play a crucial role in the success of our municipal projects. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to quality will help maintain the integrity of roadway, sidewalk, storm sewer, and various other infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Verify materials and equipment against approved shop drawings.
  • Oversee contractor startup and testing, documenting any deviations from plans.
  • Evaluate contractor payment requests and assist with the preparation of “as-built” drawings.

What We’re Looking For

High School Diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of inspection experience. NICET certification preferred, but not mandatory. Experience in supervisory or journeyman roles in construction trades is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
