Carr Hardware & Supply Inc is Hiring an Assistant Store Manager Near Pittsfield, MA
Imagine yourself as a full time Assistant Manager working in our Pittsfield store. You could be helping with the day-to-day operations for the store including, helping customers find product, ringing through sales, stocking shelves and assisting deliveries.
There is also an on target incentive package with this role of up to $10,000 a year.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Assisting customers with their needs, raising our customer pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability.
- Stocking the sales floor and moving overstock
- Coordinating the building of grills, snow blowers and other large equipment for our customers
- Developing our future leaders by training, motivating, mentoring the team
- Increasing customer satisfaction through excellent service
- Creating innovative ideas to increase our market share
- Coordinating delivery activities
The skills you will need
- Ability to lift 80lb in a single lift
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong collaborative and persuasive abilities; tact and diplomacy

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
